There were also a number of BURNELL's who lived in South Australia.
They were well known for their contribution to the Australian wool industry.
 
I've included several photos courtesy of Mrs Fanny Lincoln who published the book "The Burnell Family" Three Generations in Australia as a memory to her devoted work.

Following his retirement from British Rail, Allan Burnell had a London Train named after him.(2007)
Pictured: Allan with his wife Sandy and happy family. My wife and I met Allan & Sandy on our trip to England in October 2006. A very nice couple.

and the Great Western Steamship Company.
He is standing beside some anchor chains.
